Judith (Seltzer) Scheier, class of '62 died on July 30th after a long illness. She is survived by her daughter, Liz Scheier, her son-in-law, and her grandchildren Rachel and David.
Liz writes: My mother thought of Barnard as the happiest days of her life, and at her urging, I attended a Seven Sisters myself (Bryn Mawr '00). She also audited classes for many years; I remember that she took a class on the novel with Mary Gordon that moved her greatly. I have asked family and friends to make donations to Barnard in her memory in lieu of flowers.
